A national charity and network of local charities offer confidential advice online, over the phone, and in person, for free.
Advice on housing, benefits, work, debt, money, law and courts, immigration and more.

For information and advice on housing issues such as disrepair, eviction and homelessness, and to access Shelter’s emergency helpline
If you’re pregnant or have children under the age of 4 you can get free vouchers or payments every 4 weeks to spend on:
cow’s milk, fresh, frozen or tinned fruit and vegetables. infant formula milk, fresh, dried, and tinned pulses
You can also get free Healthy Start vitamins.
The Tussell Trust support a nationwide network of food banks and together we provide emergency food and support to people locked in poverty, and campaign for change to end the need for food banks in the UK

You can also sign your hospital / surgery up to become a referral organisation by contacting your local foodbank
Women’s Aid is a grassroots federation working together to provide life-saving services in England and build a future where domestic abuse is not tolerated. As well as providing a forum of support they provide on housing, safety planning, dealing with police and more.

THE DIGNITY PROJECT
This organisation provides families with white goods such as fridge/freezers, washing machines and cookers. Families can be referred through the local food bank and need to be working along side social services. YOUNG PATIENTS FAMILY FUND
YPFF is a Scottish Government fund designed to support parents/primary carers and any accompanying siblings under the age of 18 with the costs associated with visiting a young inpatient aged under 18 in hospital.
